Edwin Allen retained their Girls Central Champs titles on Wednesday at GC Foster College, with 366 points, 21.5 more than second-place finishers Hydel 345.5 and St. Jago 306.5.
Holmwood 279, Vere 131, St. Catherine 79.5, Spaldings 61, Manchester 59.5, Clarendon 30 and Bellefield 28 rounded off the top 10 girls schools.
Edwin Allen outstanding sprinters Tia Clayton and Kevona Davis were among the athletes who accounted for records on the day.
Tia Clayton won the Girls’ Class 3 100m final in 11.37 seconds to shatter the record of 11.70 seconds she set in the preliminary round.
Davis proved a cut above the field, winning the Girls’ Class 2 200m in 23.24 seconds to erase the previous record of 23.61 seconds she set in 2018.
